Articles Written for CCI News and Events
As the Media Intern for FSU College of Communication and Information, I would follow leads and conduct interviews in order to publish 3 articles a week on the platform.
This experience taught me valuable research skills that I then applied to the interview process. From there, I had to consistently write in AP Style in order to keep up with publication guidelines.
Articles Written for Her Campus FSU
During my time as a Staff Writer for Her Campus FSU, I had to write articles in the categories of personal, news, and profile. By the end of the semester I had 14 articles published on the platform.
I learned to promote these articles on my personal social media accounts by designing Instagram stories for each published article. The experience taught me more about writing in AP Style while using different voices depending on the type of article. It also taught me more about advertising and social media marketing.
